Safeguarding
The school’s Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs) are Mr Mervyn (Headteacher) and Mrs Thomas (Deputy Headteacher and SENCO).
The linked Governor for Safeguarding is Mrs Malcolm.
It is the legal responsibility of the school to report and monitor any suspected cases of abuse.

Organisation
School uniform and branded items
No branded items are compulsory. Children may wear a plain green jumper, cardigan or hoodie and a plain white PE T-shirt. These and all other required uniform items can be purchased from supermarkets, high-street shops or other general retailers. Clothing carrying the Brackenwood logo is entirely optional. Optional branded items are available from our uniform suppliers, but families are not required to purchase them.
Second-hand uniform
Free, good-quality second-hand uniform is available to all families through Wirral FUSS/FUPS. Families can request items online, email wirralfuss@gmail.com or telephone 07731 831936. Families may contact the school office if they need help obtaining uniform.
