Every child at Brackenwood Infant School is entitled to a free school lunch and a piece of fruit or vegetable at snack time. Our school kitchen is run by an external company called Edsential. Our lunches are prepared on-site by Edsential who’s catering teams provide 5,000,000 meals a year.

We are a health promoting school and we take healthy eating seriously. We encourage the children to make good food choices by teaching them about health and nutrition.  We provide a range of delicious meals for those children who have a school lunch. Children can select each day if they would like a hot or cold meal from the daily menu. Information about our menu can be found on our website.

Children can also bring their own packed lunch if they’d prefer.

Should your child have specific dietary requirements please contact Edsential or a member of our catering team via the school office.

Once the children reach 5 years of age, families can chose to pay for daily milk through our provider Cool Milk. Families can visit www.coolmilk.com, select "Register your child for milk", and then follow the on-screen instructions to register and pay. Alternatively families can download a copy of the registration form or ask at the school office for a registration form which will need to be completed and sent to Cool Milk.

Should you have any queries regarding your child's registration or milk supply in general, please do not hesitate to contact Cool Milk directly on customerservices@coolmilk.com or call 0844 854 2913.
