Project Shakespeare

Project Shakespeare was established in 2019 with its purpose being to engage parents and members of our school community in promoting the love of reading in our school. The group of dedicated and enthusiastic parents and grandparents did a fabulous job of raising funds to revamp and restock the library and book areas across school. The main aim was to ensure each and every child develop a love of books that will continue through their lives.

Since the renovation of the school library, there are no current Shakespeare projects, however the group may be involved in future schemes. We also welcome parent volunteers in to school to read with our children.

If you are passionate about having a positive impact on developing reading at Brackenwood Infants, please speak to Mrs Dickens or Mrs Thomas via the school office.

PTA

We have an official and registered PTA. If you are interested in joining then please contact the school office at schooloffice@brackenwood-infant.wirral.sch.uk

All our parent groups are not exclusive groups and are always open to new members joining, just as the cohort of our children change year on year.  Not all members attend each meeting and feedback is provided to members who have missed meetings so that they can be kept up to date.

Project Parent-Site

This team have helped to bring communication with our families into the 21st Century. In fact, the school website was inspired by feedback from this group of parents. This committee is organised by Mr Mervyn. Project Green Fingers

This zealous group of parents have enriched the green spaces within our grounds, particularly our school garden.  The purpose of the garden is to help child mental well-being, contribute towards an aesthetically pleasing outdoor area but also to teach children the valuable skills of growing and harvesting their own produce.
